Parbai Cereal

I designed the concept, branding, and packaging for Parbai to emphasize its mission of delivering a bold, flavorful breakfast that prioritizes convenience and clean ingredients. By combining freeze-dried fruit, honey-drizzled nuts and grains, and creamy yogurt chips in one container, Parbai simplifies breakfast by providing three balanced elements, making cereal and milk optional.

Design Thinking & Campaign

To create a product that offers a solution to the needs of the modern breakfast consumer, my process began by asking the following question: What are consumers' pain points with the current market of cereal products?​ Here were three conclusions from my findings: 1. Cereal can be an inconvenient breakfast option for commuting individuals 2. Cereals typically lack nutritional value, making them a less ideal choice for the health-conscious. 3. Healthy cereals lack wow-factor and delicious flavor - requiring too much from a buyer to add their own sweetness. These findings created three core values of Parbai.

1. Simplicity - the front of our box and our illustrations are built to visually reflect our clean, and simple ingredient list.

2. Transparency - by utilizing photo imagery that transparently reflects the real ingredients inside the box, we are able to bridge trust between the brand and our buyers. 

3. Boldness - using rich color and expressive forms to evoke of a burst of sweet and tangy flavor of our freeze-dried berries, and the smoothness created by our yogurt drops.

My objective with Parbai’s campaign was to engage and connect with our target audience in a way that resonates with their busy lifestyles. By using targeted advertising on social media platforms, and in popular commuter destinations such as bus shelters, trains, and airports, we are able to reach a large portion of our ideal audience effectively - using bold visuals to grab the attention and make a lasting impression.
